Exploring Toronto Island: International Islamic Education Council (IIEC) Students Embrace Nature and Culture in a Tranquil Oasis

After their exhilarating experience at the CN Tower, the students of the International Islamic Education Council (IIEC) embarked on another adventure—their journey to Toronto Island. The island, nestled in Lake Ontario, offered a serene escape from the bustling city and a chance to explore nature’s beauty.

The students, accompanied by their teachers and chaperones, boarded a ferry that carried them across the glistening waters. As they approached the island, a gentle breeze created a sense of tranquility and anticipation among the group.

Stepping off the ferry, the students found themselves in a world of lush greenery and sandy beaches. The island provided a welcome respite from the urban landscape they had grown accustomed to. The students wasted no time immersing themselves in the island’s natural wonders.

They strolled along the island, playing some games and many more activities, and the students said

“Toronto Island is awesome. My friends and I love going there to explore. We rent bikes and ride around the beautiful trails. And the fresh air makes us feel so calm and relaxed. It’s like being in a different world away from the busy city life. we love going there with our friends. We bring a frisbee, soccer ball, badminton, volleyball, etc.”
